Balloon Festival
This was a fun first for Blake, Emily, Papa Jim, and I. The festival takes place at a small town airfield in October. There were activities set up for kids, food booths, wine tasting, and live entertainment. I was surprised to find that the balloons are setup and launched right in the middle of the crowd. It was a beautiful sight to see all the colorful balloons rise and float off in the sunset. Definitely something I would go to again. One day, I'm going to hitch a ride too!

our first fall in Troutman they actually were landing all around our house. We came outside and watched them dodge power lines. It was pretty cool to watch!
