Miss Emily has been waiting and waiting for the pool to open. The day it did, she had to get in. Blake put one toe in and declared the water waaaaaaay too cold, but Emily said she didn't care! Yesterday the neighbor had to jump in after her when she choked on water that got in her snorkel. I was hollering for Blake to get her, but he was having too much fun to hear. Em was fine, she just panics too easily. Jennifer (the neighbor) asked Emily if she'd like to meet on Sunday for a little swim coaching. Emily jumped on the chance, since she's been complaining that it's embarrassing not to be able to swim. She does great swimming under water, but just can't figure out how to swim with her head above water. Hopefully the weather is nice, but I'm not counting on it. This is the fourth weekend that rain has came in after a gorgeous week. The weather man is already talking about today being prime tornado weather. Oye.
